Hi I'm after some advice, Ive just got into MTBing as a form of getting my fitness & strength back as I had to have my knee ligaments reconstructed last year. Would be grateful for any advice/tips as I've always been fit & now have had a major setback.

first of all go and see a sports physio and let them advise you! Dont rush back into riding. You neet to strnghten the muscles up around the ligament befor you ride or you will be far more likely to get the injury again.
i have a torn acl but was back on a bike within 6 weeks with good guidance and a £1000 knee brace. hopefully be racing again within a month!!!

Thanks for the reply, have been doing loads of training but the physio has said it will take a year to get the muscles back to the way they were so just have to keep at it I guess.
